Cheery Halloween Pumpkins

Here's my last Halloween card for the kids. I just love this set and the pumpkin face is from an old SU set that I no longer have. I traced it out on the pumpkin then used my craft knife to cut it out and backed it with some Yo Yo Yellow CS. I stamped the tree with Versamark onto Early Espresso and then clear embossed it, cut it out and adhered it to the card front. I popped the pumpkins up with dimensionals. Happy Halloween!

Stamps: SU Season of Friendship, Autumn Harvest, Halloween Frights

Ink: Versamark, Basic Black, Mellow Moss (sponged on grass) Barely Banana (sponged on the moon)

Clean and Simple

Here's a quick card I made with a few scraps that were lying around. I love using up my scrap pieces of cardstock and ribbon. The photo doesn't do the butterfly justice. I stamped it with Soft Suede onto Very Vanilla CS and then sprayed it with Gold Smooch. It added a nice little touch.

Stamps: Wonderful Wings (retired)
Paper: Whisper White, Very Vanilla, Soft Suede, Autumn Vine DSP
Ink: Soft Suede
Accessories: Misc cording, Smooch Spray

I Love Fall

I love the fall colors (not so fond of the upcoming winter months though) and I have come to realize that they are my favorite color pallet. I have quite a few Twinkling H2Os and don't play with them often so I decided to try something a little bit different by using them on watercolor paper. The picture really doesn't do this justice - I just couldn't get the lighting right - but I hope you enjoy it and I thank you for taking a few minutes to read my post.

Stamps - Give Thanks and Well Scripted
Paper - Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, watercolor paper
Ink - Versamark
Accessories - Clear EP, various Twinkling H2O colors

Brayer Fun!

I've been wanting to try this technique. It's really simple to do and the results are dramatic. Simply brayer ink onto the flat side of your embossing folder, put your paper in and run it through your Big Shot (or other similar die cut machine). I did find that I needed to run the folder through using all the tabs. I ran this through very slowly and ran it through about 3 times. The first couple of tries ended up in the trash because it just didn't have enough pressure, that's why I suggest using all the tabs on your bottom plate. I hope you'll try this, it's really fun!

Stamps: Well Scripted
Ink: Soft Suede
Paper: Really Rust (retired), Cajun Craze, WW, Autumn Vine DP (retired)
Accessories: Elegant Lines embossing folder, SU large oval punch, SU label punch
